When it comes to rhythm, the VLP-400’s upgraded stereo drum machine packs 100 genre-spanning patterns with crisp 24-bit/48kHz sampling, so it feels like jamming with a drummer, not a robotic click track. Want your loop to match the groove? Just hit record and the built-in AUTO sync will lock it all in for you. You’ve also got traditional STACK-style overdubbing and the ability to mult your loop length in clean, musical chunks with no awkward timing hiccups. Bright, multi-colored footswitch LEDs help you stay locked in onstage, whether you’re recording, layering, or tweaking effects. Add in 12 hours of loop storage, MIDI sync, combo XLR/TS input for mics or instruments, and a USB interface for managing projects or updates, and the VLP-400 becomes less of a looper and more of a full-blown creative command center.
