sE Electronics sE7 sideFire Small-Diaphragm Side-Address Condenser Microphone - Precision in Tight Spaces

This is the factory matched stereo pair listing.

The sE Electronics sE7 sideFire is a high-quality back-electret small-diaphragm condenser microphone with a rotated capsule for close miking in tight studio and live sound applications. Designed for versatility, it excels at capturing acoustic guitars, pianos, drums, and more with clear, natural sound. Its side-address configuration, discrete Class-A circuitry, and transformerless output ensure pristine audio quality, making it a go-to choice for engineers needing precision in compact setups.

Optimized for Close Miking

The sE7 sideFire’s 90° rotated capsule allows for easy placement in confined spaces, delivering balanced sound with an ultra-thin diaphragm for superior transient response. Its cardioid polar pattern ensures focused pickup, ideal for studio or stage, while rejecting off-axis noise. With a max SPL of 156 dB (with pad) and ultra-low noise (16 dB equivalent), it handles everything from delicate acoustics to loud brass or snares with ease.

Flexible and Robust Design

Equipped with a switchable -20 dB attenuation pad and an 80 Hz low-cut filter (6 dB/octave), the sE7 sideFire adapts to diverse sources, preventing preamp overload and eliminating rumble or proximity effect. Its all-metal chassis with gold-plated XLR connector ensures durability and interference-free performance, complemented by a high-quality matte finish for lasting aesthetics.

Studio-Ready Accessories

The sE7 sideFire comes with a custom mic clip and thread adapter for secure stand mounting, plus a windscreen to minimize wind noise in live or outdoor settings. At just 163 g, its lightweight design is perfect for portable rigs or fixed studio installations, offering professional-grade sound in a compact package.
