Used unknown brand pair of "Faux buckers" chrome covered humbuckers.

I bought these pickup from Japan not in a guitar, and there's no markings on them so I can't say what brand or model it is, or what guitar (if any) it was removed from, or the age.

These are known as "faux buckers", which are pickups that look like humbuckers but there is only 1 coil inside them. Many brands in Japan used these in their budget guitars in the 60's and 70's.

They are different from a single coil in that the magnet is under the poles/coil, and not the pole themselves - like one side of a humbucker.

These look old, based on the tarnish on them and the pole piece size, they look like 70's type pickups, but again I can't say for certain.

Inside, there is a coil that that wraps around a keeper bar that holds the pole pieces in place (the poles are adjustable), and then that sits on top of a ceramic magnet that is glued to the baseplate. The baseplate is affixed to the cover by glue/epoxy, not by screws.

On one of the pickups, the glue has come loose - allowing me to open up the pickup to see inside. You might want to reglue or solder this back in place for a more secure fitting.

Both pickups have a 49.5mm pole spacing, and both have about 11.5" of lead wire, so there's no obvious neck or bridge pickup.

The DC resistance measures 2.98K ohms on one and 3.06K ohms on the other, measured from the ground wire to the white signal wire.

The pickups are in good players grade shape, although there's some typical tarnish, corrosion, pitting, scratches on the chrome covers. They would look out of place in a brand new guitar, but look just right in a vintage guitar.
