The Walrus Audio Kangra Filter Fuzz is a two-in-one pedal that delivers a thick, aggressive fuzz and a psychedelic filter, perfect for unleashing a torrent of sonic mayhem. Born from a collaboration with SNL guitarist and fuzz aficionado Jared Scharff, the Kangra takes inspiration from the vintage Kay Fuzz Tone while incorporating modern features and expanded controls. Whether you're carving out aggressive lead lines, exploring funky envelope filter textures, or conjuring swirling psychedelic soundscapes, the Kangra is ready to take your sound to uncharted territories.

Dual Fuzz Modes — Vintage Grit and Modern Sustain

The Kangra offers two distinct fuzz flavors with its M/V switch. Engage Modern mode for a thick, forgiving fuzz with long sustain and smooth, singing harmonics. Flip to Vintage mode for a raw, gritty fuzz with a shorter, more aggressive decay. This versatility allows you to dial in a wide range of fuzz tones, from classic vintage textures to modern high-gain saturation.

Versatile Filter Section — Shape Your Sound

The Kangra's filter section is a sonic playground, offering Resonance, Sensitivity, Frequency, and Envelope Filter controls. Use the filter independently to add unique character to your sound, or combine it with the fuzz for a truly psychedelic experience. Flip the Envelope Filter switch to unlock funky, dynamic filter sweeps that respond to your playing dynamics.

Collaborative Design — Inspired by a Fuzz Fanatic

The Kangra is a testament to the collaborative spirit between Walrus Audio and Jared Scharff. Through countless hours of experimentation and refinement, they've created a fuzz pedal that captures the essence of vintage grit while offering the versatility and control that modern players demand.
