The domestic long-established brand TOKAI’s “Premium Series” features high-spec models produced in Japan. The model that has arrived this time is based on the 1958-style LP type "LS196" with a plain maple top. The details have been carefully re-examined to enhance its vintage feel, making it a special order by Kurosawa Gakki.

The most notable and significant feature is the Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard. Since the availability of rosewood fingerboard guitars has drastically decreased, this model is extremely rare.

While the basic specifications are the same as the LS196, the body top and back wood are selected premium materials. Additionally, the neck joint angle has been set to “3.8 degrees” to resemble vintage 1950s models. The guitar is equipped with Tokai’s original PAF-Vintage MK2 pickups. While maintaining the bright tone of PAF-style pickups, these have been set with slightly higher output, making them versatile and suitable for all genres with a wide sound range.

Condition:

• Fret remaining: 80%
• Truss rod: Good condition
• There are some minor dents, scratches, and tarnishing on the hardware, but overall, the guitar is in good condition with minimal signs of use.
• The neck and playability are both in excellent condition.
• There are some paint reactions on part of the headstock from a stand, but they do not affect the playability.

This is a used gear and does show some signs of slight use, but has been fully tested and functions as expected. Please take a moment to review our pictures, as they accurately portray the true condition of the instrument.
