Original Vintage 1982 Gibson Les Paul XR-III in excellent playing condition, complete with original chainsaw protector case!
One of Gibson’s rarer offerings, the XR-III prefigured the studio standard and custom with an unbound rosewood neck, and 360 finished wild DuPont red metallic body without the classic top binding. She also features the highly desirable Tim Shaw PAF patent number pickups, which sound, yeah, amazing.
This fine example plays absolutely beautifuly; effortless neck, excellent frets, arrow straight, and lightning fast. Original Gibson logo machines are rock solid, and she holds excellent tune. Keeper.
Cosmetically, she’s quite lovely as well, with lots of awesome, natural patina and finish aging, and no cracks, breaks, or repairs. Badass axe. - Enjoy!
