The Ibanez AZ Standard Series delivers the sound, playability, and performance Ibanez is known for-at a price that makes it accessible to a wide range of players. Featuring a flamed maple top over an alder body, this guitar provides a balanced, bright tone with strong sustain and a striking visual appeal.

This AZ22S1F leans into a more classic aesthetic, sporting a pickguard and an HSS pickup configuration for added tonal versatility. The roasted maple neck is heat-treated for stability and durability, while the jatoba fretboard enhances midrange warmth and clarity. The Super All Access Neck Joint ensures effortless access to the higher frets, making the most of the jumbo stainless steel frets, which at this price point is a no-brainer.

Equipped with Ibanez Classic Custom pickups, this guitar offers a blend of classic and modern tones. The Alnico single-coils in the neck and middle positions deliver clarity and warmth, while the ceramic humbucker in the bridge provides powerful, dynamic output. The dyna-MIX9 switching system with an Alter Switch expands tonal possibilities, allowing quick switching between humbucker and single-coil modes, including a setting that simulates a humbucking sound using two single-coil pickups.

For tuning stability and precision, the AZ22S1F features locking machine heads and a T106 tremolo bridge with six independent saddles for precise intonation. If you're looking for a versatile guitar that blends classic styling with modern performance, this AZ model delivers.
