At its core is a thermo-cured Adirondack Spruce top, torrefied for enhanced resonance, quicker responsiveness, and a broken-in sound from day one. Paired with solid rosewood back and sides, the result is a rich, balanced tone with sparkling highs, strong mids, and a defined low end.
Eastman’s meticulous approach is evident in every detail: the hand-scalloped X-bracing maximizes projection and sustain, while the mahogany neck with a Traditional Even “C” profile delivers a smooth, familiar feel across all positions. A 12-inch radius ebony fingerboard provides a clean playing surface for intricate chord shapes and articulate lead lines.
