The Epiphone SG Custom is a rock 'n' roll masterpiece inspired by Gibson's high-end guitars. With its sleek Ebony finish and stylish gold hardware, it has the same charm and appeal as a legendary '60s-era SG. Plus, its ProBucker Custom pickups provide a diverse lineup of rich, snarling tones, making it a need-to-try guitar for musicians looking to rock out in style.
The SG Custom sports a mahogany body with deep cutaways, giving it a powerful tonal foundation and unrestricted access to all 22 frets. Instead of a bolt-on neck, this Epiphone features a set-neck construction, enhancing sustain and stability for a better playing experience. Guitarists who prefer vintage guitars will appreciate this model's 1960 SlimTaper C-shaped mahogany neck, which has a fast feel but isn't overly thin like some modern instruments.
Gold hardware adorns the Epiphone SG Custom, from the shiny tuning pegs to the pickup covers and control knob inserts. But it's not just about looks; this guitar has a voice that competes with any modern Gibson, thanks to its ProBucker Custom pickups. These humbuckers produce a deep, clear sound with a slightly old-school character, just like genuine '50s Gibson P.A.F. pickups. Whether you need something hot and bright or thick and thunderous, the dual volume and tone knobs paired with the 3-way pickup selector are the gateway to limitless sonic exploration.
Blending modern playability with classic tones and aesthetics, the Epiphone SG Custom is fantastic for musicians seeking a killer rock 'n' roll guitar with an eye-catching appearance.
