Victoria Jimmy Verb 5w 1x12 Combo Amp w/ Reverb and Tremolo

The "JimmyVerb" is kind of a one-off that we made as a custom order for Jimmy Dilidus, a long time customer. Jimmy used to visit me in my basement when I was still building amplifiers at my house! He may have been one of my very first customers, contracting me to build amps for him after we met at a guitar show--(pre eBay circa 1992-93; remember those days?)

the JV is essentially a tweaked VickyVerb to which we added tremolo.. We massaged the tone stack to match his delicate rhythm style so it was suitable for both his Telecasters and Les Pauls..The tremolo circuitry is the same design as our Regal or a VibroChamp--it's a driver stage modulation rather than a power tube or neon bulb type. This style of tremolo is very rich and smooth--perfectly symmetrical and super effective at volume- it doesn't get swamped like a Princeton when turned up..

Like a VickyVerb, the JV operates a single power in single ended operation. It's as purely single ended Class A as it gets. Like our VickyVerb, the amp is designed to operate a 6V6, 6L6 or EL34 power tube giving it an effective wattage of b/w 5w. Simply swapping the power tube for a different type is all that's required; no adjustments are necessary. Half power switch stock.

The speaker included is the Victoria/Eminence vintage 1258. (our proprietary 12" speaker).
