The Overdrive Preamp 250 – 50th Anniversary Edition pedal is hand-built in the USA using the authentic design of the original pedal, while adding two extra modes for modern sonic versatility.

The Overdrive Preamp 250 – 50th Anniversary Edition is actually three overdrive pedals in one. Set it to Silicon mode for a faithful reproduction of the original 250’s bite and grind, courtesy of an authentic LM741 op-amp. Select Ge/ASYM mode to engage a Germanium diode for asymmetrical even-order clipping that provides a distinct tonal character with incredible touch response. Or switch to Lift mode to remove diode clipping completely from the signal path, for use as a clean boost and preamp.

Complete with a commemorative 50th Anniversary badge, custom artwork and color-matched LED, and a 50th Anniversary pedal topper, the Overdrive Preamp 250 – 50th Anniversary Edition pedal is ideal for players and collectors alike.
