?¼s manual. The mega-classic SupraPhonic snare drums featuring a chrome-plated aluminum, beaded shell, 10 dual Classic lugs and the dependable SupraPhonic strainer are the same versatile and great sounding snare drums that Ludwig has been making for over 50 years and they are still on top! You don't mess with a perfect design! In every professional drummer??¼s collection of must-have snare drums, there is always a LUDWIG SupraPhonic! The SupraPhonic snare drums have been used in countless recordings and stage shows for all of these years and it's easy to hear why. The 5??½x14??½ SupraPhonic is bright, penetrating, colorful and direct, with multiple sweet spots and tuning ranges. The larger 6-1/2??½x14??½ SupraPhonic has these same characteristics but is capable of a deeper tuning range and heavier, fatter tone. In this size, the SupraPhonic snare drum really excels as a hard rock snare as well as for large jazz and concert bands. The beaded shell design, a LUDWIG SupraPhonic hallmark, with the raised, curved bead circling the shell, is a design element that keeps the shell very stiff and perfectly round. It also contributes to the resonance of the shell. Get your LUDWIG SupraPhonic 6-1/2"x14" Snare Drum from Sam Ash Direct today
