The LTD Snakebyte is the Signature Series model of James Hetfield, Metallica's legendary frontman and one of the most respected rhythm guitarists in rock and metal history. Designed in collaboration with Hetfield, the Snakebyte boasts a bold, aggressive shape tailored for performance and style. Constructed with set-neck design at a 24.75” scale, the Snakebyte features a mahogany body and a three-piece mahogany neck, delivering powerful sustain and tonal depth. The Macassar ebony fingerboard includes 22 extra-jumbo frets and a custom snake inlay at the 12th fret, adding a personal touch to this high-performance guitar.

Equipped with Hetfield’s own EMG JH SET active pickups, the Snakebyte delivers dynamic tones ranging from tight, aggressive rhythm to cutting leads. The guitar also features a TonePros locking TOM bridge and tailpiece for rock-solid tuning stability and excellent sustain. Finished in sleek Black Satin with black hardware, the Snakebyte is as visually striking as it is sonically powerful.
