(NEW) We've always enjoyed the clean thump of the Bourgeois Blues model, Dana's take on the all-hog jumbo guitar. These are deceptively versatile, and despite the name, play all kinds of music really well. This guitar has a nice low-end kick and a strong strummed voice, but can also get out of the way of vocals easily.
We opted for lightly stained figured mahogany on this one, front back and sides. For additional visual flair, we asked for a firestripe pick guard and headstock overlay, as well as full body/neck/peghead binding in ivoroid for contrast. The Waverly tuners have ivoroid buttons to match. Fingerboard and bridge are Ziricote. Long 25 1/2" scale with 1 23/32" nut, 2 1/4" string spacing at the saddle, gentle C neck profile, smooth and fast satin finish on the neck.
