1991-1992 Fender Squier Hank Marvin Signature Stratocaster MIJ Made in Japan - Fiesta Red

This guitar launched the limited Japanes-built Squiers in the early 90's to add more prestige to the Squier brand. The guitar was built by the same folks at the Fujigen factory building the Fender Stratocaster Standard. The only particularly noticeable change was a switch from full-sized pots to minis. Beyond that, the Squier Marvin was virtually identical to a late '80s and early '90s MIJ Fender Standard Stratocaster - which was a 1983 SST-30 Stratocaster derivative with an '87-style neck.

The guitar has been given some custom appearance and function upgrades with a Journeyman Relic look to the fretboard, tortoiseshell pickguard and coil tap switch. You can of course revert back to the standard white pick guard and ditch the coil switch to achieve the classic Hank Marvin look.
