For more than 25 years, Pearl's Session Series has been synonymous with exceptional recorded drum tones that resonate with harmonic richness in studio settings. Now, the tradition continues with the introduction of the Session Studio Select drums, featuring custom enhancements derived from our renowned Masterworks line. These drums are crafted with a refined thin shell design, utilizing a 5.4mm EvenPly-Six combination of Masters-grade Birch and African Mahogany. This innovative construction delivers a perfect balance of clarity and warmth, combined with the focused punch achieved through Pearl's meticulously engineered 60-degree bearing edge. Beyond the sonic improvements, the Session Studio Select range boasts a variety of aesthetic upgrades in both finishes and hardware, ensuring that these instruments not only sound great but also look stunning on stage. To further enhance value, Pearl offers three specially-priced shell sets, each including a complimentary floor tom. Experience a sophisticated tonal palette that adapts to your evolving playing style, all while enjoying premium features that are hard to match at this price point.
