For sale is a Studer A80VU head block with 1/2" 4-track heads in excellent condition. This block can be used as-is for your 4-track machine or use it as part of a 1/2" 2-track conversion of your A80. Studer part #1.020.724. This machine should be compatible with A80VU mkII - mkIV, but please check the service manual to verify before purchasing.
There is adhesive residue on the block from tape which I'll clean as soon as I locate cleaner and will update the photos - the block is otherwise very clean overall.
NOTE - this block is not compatible with the A80R/RC, nor is it compatible with the A80VU mkI.
