Original vintage 1981 Gibson “The Paul” firebrand Les paul deluxe in excellent playing condition!
These FB Les Paul’s were something of a bargain model at the turn of the 80’s, though they are now enjoying a bit of a boom in popularity. What I particularly like about this one is the thinner mahogany body, making for more of an SG Singlecut feel, and saving the back and shoulder from that les paul-itis!
Same killer neck though, as well as a very nice, tight grained ebony board. The pickups have been upgraded to Duncan zebra PAF‘s and the tuners, gotoh, but she‘s otherwise all original, no cracks, or repairs, natural patina and finish wear only.
