Launched in 1950 as the “Broadcaster,” it wasn’t until a year later when Leo Fender dubbed his first-ever electric guitar design the “Telecaster” that it got its official name, and the model’s remained largely unchanged since. Player II Series Series

Named for their player-friendly features, Fender Player II Series instruments feature Modern “C”-shaped necks with rolled fingerboard edges, 9.5”-radius fretboards, and medium jumbo frets.
