A cool Kay tenor banjo, made in Chicago during the 1950's or 60's. Tuned CGDA. We gave the banjo a setup and new strings, so it's all ready for you to take home and enjoy! This instrument is in very good condition for it's age. The main points are that the back of the resonator's finish worn off in places, there is wear to the finish on the neck and the nut has chips (string slots are fine). Other than those things, it's just light wear and the D string tuner is slightly bent. In very good condition overall and comes with a chip case.

  • Made in Chicago, Il. c.1950's/1960's
  • 1 3/16" nut width
  • 23" scale length
  • 16 tension hooks
  • Chip case
