A custom overwound PAF like humbucker with moderate output that is perfectly voiced for supreme blues, rock, and metal clarity.

Description

The Duncan Custom is an overwound PAF style pickup that uses a small ceramic magnet and custom wound coils to deliver great responsiveness while maintaining clarity for big chords. It has a bright upper-midrange, which helps the notes jump out when playing clean, and provides great harmonic content when playing with gain. The Duncan Custom has a bright, airy, and focused drive, making it a great choice for warmer guitars with a prominent midrange. Pair with the Jazz neck or 59 neck model for a rockin dual humbucker setup.Hand built in our Santa Barbara, CA factory, the Duncan Custom uses a small ceramic bar magnet, nickel silver bottom plate, 4-conductor lead wire for multiple wiring options, and is vacuum wax potted for squeal-free performance.
