STR LS648 ORDER ONLY

Having worked with STR for a few years as a demonstrator / artist, and dealer, I wanted to collaborate on a simpler STR that has all the tone and playability of the really expensive boutique exotic wood builds, but with simpler materials. However, given that my BJD  business took precedence over demonstrating for STR/Deviser and also was seen as a bit of a conflict of interests, I am now working with them on order made instruments instead of representing them any more.  

This concept features a simple 2 piece ash body, a 3 pc neck, Birdseye maple fretboard with black blocks and binding. The pickups are STRs own in J H configuration with three way coil splitter on the humbucker. It's loaded with the Aguilar OBp3 preamp complete with passive mode and a mid frequency switch. This is a very versatile bass.

The hardware is cosmo black on this example; A simple version of this with plastic pickup casing, no pick guard, plain maple fretboard and chrome hardware would start at around $3300 USD, 

Feel free to get a quote on a similar "simple"  build if this one takes your fancy. You can of course have various body colors and finishes and select Ash / Alder / Mahogany as tone woods.

Comes with original semi-hard nylon and suede STR case.
