Studio-Grade 1176 FET Compression in a Classic Heritage Aesthetic

The Origin Effects Cali76 FET Compressor - Brushed Aluminum Edition delivers elite, studio-grade FET compression directly to your pedalboard, wrapped in the brand's iconic, classic heritage enclosure. Heavily inspired by the legendary Urei® 1176® outboard studio compressor found on decades of historic rock, pop, and session recordings, this pedal features an uncompromised, 100% all-analog discrete Class-A signal path. It provides the elite punch, fast transient response, and musical transparency that discerning musicians demand for both live performance and tracking in the studio.

Far from a simple utility pedal, the Cali76 FET Compressor functions as a core tone-shaping anchor. It works beautifully to even out dynamic peaks, increase clean sustain, and impart an expensive, "produced" studio sheen to your guitar's natural voice without coloring your foundational tone.

Parallel Compression Controls and Dynamic Precision

Equipped with fully variable Attack, Release, and Ratio controls, the Cali76 FET Compressor allows you to dial in everything from transparent dynamic evening to highly squashed, percussive country chickin-pickin' or funk stabs. The addition of the dedicated Dry blend control unlocks true parallel compression on your board. By mixing your uncompressed dry guitar signal back into the compressed pipeline, you can retain your natural pick attack and organic playing dynamics while reaping the full benefits of massive, singing FET sustain underneath.

Ultra-High 24V Internal Headroom and Real-Time LED Monitoring

To deliver pristine signal clarity, the Cali76 FET Compressor accepts a standard 9VDC power input and utilizes an internal voltage-boosting circuit to ramp it up to a massive 24V rail. This extreme internal headroom guarantees clean, unclipped operation, easily handling hot humbuckers, high-output active pickups, or line-level signals without unwanted digital artifacts or premature clipping. For effortless monitoring on dark stages, a responsive, front-panel 10-LED gain reduction bar graph gives you immediate visual feedback on exactly how the compression circuit is tracking your touch.
