Here is a rare one for you...a 1966 Guild Jet-Star bass. These were a pretty funky design, even for the '60's, so very few were produced in their short five year run.
This example is all original, and cosmetically it is in very good condition. The original tuners work great, and the original bridge was made by Hagstrom. The original pots work great, and the pickup has a very cool J-bass kind of vibe, but not as punchy. The frets are in great condition with very little wear.
The body is solid mahogany, and the neck is two-piece mahogany with a maple center stripe. The most surprising thing about these basses is how comfortable they are! The nut is a little tight at 1.5", but not an issue if you are used to the J-bass feel. One of the rubber feet on the bottom edge of the body is missing. This bass also comes with a really nice Cedar Creek custom made case (the cutout for the body is a little too deep so a bit of padding is needed to keep it in the correct position).
A super cool, very unique bass for someone who wants a lightweight player with tons of vibe. Want to rock something way different than everyone else...this is the one!
