About This Listing

Very cool and well-made nylon string guitar from Korea! Global guitars have a bit of a cult following due to their consistently well made instruments with unique characteristics. This instrument is particularly unusual and dripping with character.

The tone is very distinct, deep and throaty with rich basses and a lovely singing quality. It has excellent sustain and projection. The guitar also handles flamenco very well, due to its cypress and spruce construction and black golpeador on the soundboard. The rosette is a true mosaic (not a decal). Neck is chunky and thick like a softball bat, fits great in the hands!

Structurally the guitar is in good shape, with the exception of an abrasion on the lower bout (see photos) and a few nicks here and there. The bridge is solid and is not lifting or bulging. The neck is straight with no heel separation. Frets are in good shape. Tuners are smooth and work fine. Intonation is good. Action is about 3.5 mm at 12th fret, good for classical playing but a little high for flamenco players.

Includes a chipboard case or gig bag.
