About This Listing

It's ELECTRA-fying!

Here for sale is a little project I built out about a year ago. I IMMEDIATELY sold it to a local church player - and he played it regularly for a year and half or so, then he bought a $2600 Gibson acoustic and had to make some hard gear decisions, so it is back with me.

When it came in, it was basically just a box of parts. The body was unfinished, so we stained it in Sonic Blue Stain and did a bit of a relic. I then put it back together with a mix of vintage and modern parts. Here are the highlights:

  • Bootstrap USA Original Recipe T-Style Bridge
  • GFS Surf 90 neck pickup
  • Vintage Grover 10mm 6-in-line from the 80s/90s
  • Modern 6 saddle bridge
  • Rewired with high end, modern components

The result is one fine piece of player grade vintage!

This guitar is a whole vibe - it really nails that James Gang "Funk #49" tone. Would be great for someone who is really into "shunky" playing like Cory Wong or Nile Rodgers.

As always, we cleaned it up, polished the finish, flushed the electronics, changed the strings and set the action low and smooth. This guitar has a gig bag, and I pack my guitars up tight and insure every package for the full purchase amount.

Got questions? Shoot me a message, I love nerding out with other gearheads!
