1979 Musicman Sabre Bass in Sunbursts finish - One of the first 100 ever made

With serial number within the first 100 made, this Sabre Bass is a super early one and a real funk machine.

Great slim neck, typical of these early Sabre and a low action, packed with so many great tonal options and finished in a gorgeous 3 colour sunburst.

The Sabre hit the market in May 1979 and the body of this instrument is actually stamped may 1979 making it one from the very first batch.

This instrument has been used and shows a bit of buckle rush at the back and a few marks but overall is in great condition.

Great collector piece and superb instrument.
