About This Listing

Here's a 1990 Music Man Sabre Bass Cobalt Blue Metallic. These are getting harder and harder to come across! The bass comes to us from a great Music Man collection. Everything is original with the exception of the pickup covers. May 1990 neck & body date. It also appears to be a one off finish. The neck pocket shows a natural stamp but everything looks factory. It's really cool dark blue we've never seen before. The last two pic's in the listing show it lit up to really see the blue. There's a few small dings where the finish is touched up, specifically on the back side. Beautiful figured maple neck that plays great! Smooth and fast. Both humbuckers sound fantastic as well! Original electronics, with active tone controls. Big array of tones. These basses were so well made! Nice after market hardshell case included!

Before shipping, all guitars & basses receive a fresh, deep clean, along with a pro setup to your spec's! We are an appointment only store. All instruments are handled by SS Vintage employees only.
