Check out this swampy 60's throwback! The damn thing shreds!

Originally setting up shop in 1959 by James Burns, London based Burns guitars has long specialized in custom electric guitars and basses. The gang across the pond takes their knowledge and experience as pro luthiers and produce some truly great instruments! After spending a little time with this guitar it's no wonder the Marquee is their best selling Club Series model. 

Crafted from toneful okoume wood with a greenburst finish, this guitar is gonna turn some heads. The D profile maple neck (.81"- .87") feels slim yet comfy in the hands. A 12" radius rosewood fingerboard and 1.69" nut width rounds out the construction of this British beauty.

All that tone is pumped through a trio of Alnico Rez-0-Matik single coil pickups (N: 5.36k, N: 5.34k, B: 5.26k) and they have the classic 60s tone that we all know and love. 

Electronics include master volume, two tone knobs and a 5-way switch. Add in the Burns Deluxe Tremolo unit and you have all the controls you need to coax the sound you desire outta this baby. There's more than meets the eye here though. The bottom tone pot is a sneaky push-pull pickup selector! How's that for variety?? 

This lightly used guitar has put in the miles to be sure but still looks good and plays great. You'll find some checking on the body and pick swirls on the guard (see pictured) but nothing that takes away from the overall vibe of this thing.
