Thisguitar is 2009 Burns Club SeriesMarquee Black made in Korea. I make no claims to be an experton the authentication of this guitar and appreciate any correctionsor additions to the information here.
Headstock:
Headstockis maple with sealed gold tuning machines that work well. The nut isplastic and 1.7 inches wide. The headstock is in excellent conditionand a blacklight revealed no damage or repairs
Neck:
Neckis maple attached with 4-bolts, has a chunky “C” profile. All 22frets are in very good condition with no noticeable wear, includingthe zero fret. Radius in 12 inches. The two-way truss rod operateswell. The fretboard is maple with plastic dot inlays and a 25.5 inchscale. The neck is in very good condition with some wear on the bassside. A blacklight revealed no damage or repairs.
Body:
Thebody is solid alder and the neck pocket and electrical cavities arein very good shape. The bridge and saddles work well. String heightis 2/32 inch on treble side and 3/32 inch on bass side. The body isin very good condition and a blacklight revealed no damage orrepairs.
Electrical:
Wiringand components are in very good condition using 500K pots, a 5-wayswitch and push-pull pot on the tone. The push-pull engages the neckpickup in all positions. P1 = 5.0K/2.5K, P2 = 2.5K/1.7K, P3 =5.0K/2.6K, P4 = 2.6K, P5 – 5.1K.
Setupwas completed with 10 gauge strings.
