About This Listing

This Kingston SD-30 (S3T) is a relic from the past. Made in Japan and imported to the US in the 1960s, these guitars are known for being used by Tony Glover and "Hound Dog Taylor", a guitarist with 6 fingers on both hands. This specific guitar is in the less common found aqua/green finish, and is overall in great condition for it's age. There are some finish cracks as well as wear on the body (see pictures), but the guitar has spent the majority of it's life in storage. All electronics and contact points have been cleaned and are functioning as intended.

The guitar arrived to us set up as a slide guitar with decades-old 13-56 flatwound strings. Our Tech completed a full disassembly, fretboard conditioning, exterior+electronics cleaning, and polish of the hardware and frets.

The guitar received a fresh setup with a new set of D'addario 11-49 EXL115W Strings.

Restoration completed between 3/8/24-3/11/24.

Includes case pictured.

This guitar is available in-store, with shipping available for the Contiguous United States.

No trades. This is a consignment sale.
