Summary: This 1950’s Marvel by Multivox bass is one of the definitive works of Japanese craftspersonship from the dawn of electric instruments. This is a true low end machine.

Body: Chambered, double cutaway wood body in Sunburst finish.

Neck:  Maple with a Maple fingerboard,  34” scale length,  1.75” nut width, 20 frets, black dot inlays.

Pickups/Hardware: Replaced lipstick style pickups, open gear tuning keys, original 2 saddle bridge, plastic knobs, plastic nut.

Cosmetics: This guitar is in good  shape. It has surface scratches, scrapes, small indentations, crazing, on the body. The back of the neck is clean, and the frets show some wear. The back has true buckle rash. Overall, this guitar plays very well and sounds fantastic.

Modifications: Changed tuning key, replaced pickups (new route for bridge pickup), added knob.

Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable.
