About This Listing

This 2009 Explorer has aged extremely well and just straight up RIPS.

All electronics are original and are functionally sound. Equipped with Epiphone Alnico Classic humbuckers to deliver plenty of growl, independent volume controls for each and one tone control allow for seamless tone blending your very own sticky, heavy riffs. Original control pots have been swapped out with top hat style pots for aesthetic purpose only. All take off hardware will be shipped with guitar.

Overall in excellent used condition. There is a significant chip out of the neck at the fourth fret, high e side, but this has been resealed and any further/continuing damage has been arrested. Chicks think scars are cool anyways.

Ships w/ original volume/tone pots and pickup covers in OHSC.

Product Overview
The Epiphone '58 Korina Explorer sports a Korina body, mahogany neck, rosewood fretboard, and Alnico Classic humbucking pickups to make for an affordable reissue to one of the most valuable vintage Gibson guitars.

This model is virtually indistinguishable from the laminated Mahogany/Alder model that began at the same time, with the only difference being the body wood. Both models were offered in black Ebony finish, adding to the confusion, but the laminated models came in Red and Alpine white, which were not available finishes for the Korina model.
