Overview
The Epiphone '58 Explorer that ran from 1998 - 2002 is virtually indistinguishable from the Korina model that began at the same time, with the only difference being that the body is made of laminated Mahogany / Alder. Both models were offered in black Ebony finish, adding to the confusion, but these laminated models came in Red and Alpine white, which were not available finishes for the Korina model.
