Description: I am the original owner and purchased this instrument directly from Warwick in 2021. When not being played, this bass has been kept humidified and in the case at all times. This is a phenomenal bass with growling low-end and articulate highs. With the tape-wound strings and low action, it is a very smooth playing fretless with a tone that is especially reminiscent of that coveted woody upright sound. The cutaway makes soloing a breeze, and the unique soundhole positioning makes it easy to hear what you are playing - even in a band setting. The electronics function as expected and this bass records well. Includes a fresh set of La Bella tape-wound strings as well.

Please note this is NOT Warwick's "rock bass" line, but rather is the premium, top-of-the-line Alien model. You can tell because of the ebony accents around the soundhole as opposed to the inlays they use on their rock bass series.

Repairs: Shortly after acquiring this bass, it developed a hairline crack near where the soundhole and fretboard meet the body. I also observed a crack forming in the bridge. I took the instrument to the Denver Folklore Center where it was professionally repaired by their luthier, John. He also made a new saddle to stop low-B buzz that came from the factory. Guitar plays great now, and I've had no issues since. *Please see the last two pictures to verify the repairs that were made.*
