Danelectro DM-25 '66 25W 1x12" Reverb & Vibrato NEAR MINT

There's always something special about a great find, and a find in such great condition is extra special.

This two-channel Danelectro tube amp has a very Vox AC15-like quality.  As one   Another person on the wide world of guitar forums said: " I recently got to play one and I think I'm in love with it."

You can hear a good demo of that luscious tone in the YouTube demo (not of this amp, but the same model), so here's the rest of the skinny.

The vibrato and reverb are both on the second channel, and deliver beautiful depth and character. The 25 watts through the Jensen Special Design 12" speaker (original) is mighty loud when dimed, and cuts through like a bell even at lower volumes.

The amp is deceptively small, and the head can stow away in the back for easy hauling. It's also not very heavy so should also be reasonable to ship. Moreover, it is just supremely clean all around, including a lovely grill with that great Dano script logo.

It still has the two-prong cord -- which should be changed for a three-pronger --  and the amp head connects directly to the speaker rather than via a 1/4" input.

I'm already wary that I might never see one of these Neptune, NJ -built classic in this kind of condition again. But The Swede and I are on a mission to get these sorts of wonders into the hands of players.

We have lots of other great guitars like a magnificent '66 Hagstrom III and a totally boss '74 AMPEG Super Stud available, as well as a killer-diller '86 Marshall Lead 12 Mini Stack and more fantastic stuff we are getting ready to list, so please check out the rest of the shop and point friends and fellow musicians our way.

Also check our feedback to buy with confidence in us, and please feel free to ask any questions about this or any of our other guitars and amps. We also recently added a brief that you can see on the front of the shop or on YouTube.

About Automatic Jack
As with all the axes in the Automatic Jack Shack, the Swede -- my guitar craftsman and collaborator in gear -- has given this his full treatment, checking, fixing and optimizing all the electronics, hardware and functionality from headstock on down. Of course, our vintage is old stuff, so bear in mind that many of our listings are for 30-40+ year-old instruments, with the typical kind of wear and quirks that comes with that. Vintage gear tends to be imperfect and in need of ongoing care.  We are dedicated to delivering the most playable, high-quality and modestly-priced guitars and gear we can. But we are players and people. We want to offer great deals and deal with great people.
