For anyone who's ever dream of owning a Marshall Stack, bring your seat into an upright position.

The original owner bought this in 1986 on Long Island to bring to college.  He kept it pristine every since. It even has the original hang tag, manual and other documents.  It is in dead mint condition.

The Lead 12 head delivers 12 watts of that classic Marshall sound, very reminiscent of a JCM800, with the trademark gain and crunch.

The 3005 Mini Stack  -- not to be confused with the current MG series made in China -- features a made-in-England Lead 12 solid state head atop two cabinets,  one slanted and one flat, with 10" Celestion G 10 D35 speakers.

But here's the secret, which you can learn more about in the video included here, by the kooky but knowledgeable Scott Groves: the cabinets are cool and fun, and the whole setup looks great.  But take the Lead 12 off the top, plug the external jack on the back of it into a bigger cabinet or PA speaker, and for those about to rock, we salute you!

Wow. Wow. Wow. So much fun and so much of what Marshall is all about. In fact I've heard you can send both speaker outputs into one cabinet for even more oomph (Taking care, of course with matching the ohms the Lead 12 can handle.)

Some other details: the Lead 12 has two inputs, High and Low, as well as a Line Out on the front.  The back has two outputs, for each cabinet, as well as a headphone output.

Given the condition of this Mini Stack, and its overall awesomeness/pedigree, I am totally tempted to just hold onto this....but I bet someone is going to make me give it up!

We have lots of other great guitars like a '62 Gretsch Anniversary a '66 KAPA Continental  and a' 82 Peavey T-25 as well as some boss ampsincluding a ' and an '84 Fender Stage Lead. About Automatic Jack
As with all the axes in the Automatic Jack Shack, the Swede -- my guitar craftsman and collaborator in gear -- has given this his full treatment, checking, fixing and optimizing all the electronics, hardware and functionality from headstock on down. Of course, our vintage is old stuff, so bear in mind that many of our listings are for 30-40+ year-old instruments, with the typical kind of wear and quirks that comes with that. Vintage gear tends to be imperfect and in need of ongoing care.  We are dedicated to delivering the most playable, high-quality and modestly-priced guitars and gear we can. But we are players and people. We want to offer great deals and deal with great people.
