Celebrating three decades of innovation, the SR405EPBDX from Ibanez's SR series continues to set the standard for modern bass alternatives.
Designed to meet the diverse needs of players across different budgets, the SR405EPBDX maintains the core essence that has made the SR series an enduring favorite. A 5pc Maple/Walnut neck ensures tonal clarity and superior attack, providing a smooth playing experience. The Jatoba fretboard, with its reddish-brown hue, adds a touch of warmth to the sound, producing a rich mid-range with a crisp high end. Medium-sized frets contribute to the accuracy of your notes, making it a joy to play intricate bass lines.

The Poplar Burl top showcases an exotic wood grain, complemented by the Nyatoh body that delivers a rich mid-low end, ensuring a well-rounded and resonant tone. The PowerSpan Dual Coil pickups, a product of Ibanez innovation, produce a strong signal with exposed pole pieces, offering harmonic detail and dynamic expression. The Ibanez Custom Electronics 3-Band EQ, with its unique Boost and Cut for the Mid Control centered on different frequencies, provides a preset range of the most favorable bass tones.

The Accu-cast B500 Series Bridge, with adjustable saddles, caters to every bassist's specific string spacing needs. The 3-Way Power Tap switch unlocks a spectrum of tonal personalities, allowing you to choose between a rich humbucker sound, a pure single-coil sound, or an enhanced single-coil sound with fattened lows.
