Tax bill is forcing some tough decisions. This is a unique one and by a luthier that doesn't come up much stateside. Will ship in a thick padded gigbag that's standard for Mattisson basses (Slickbag).
There is an extra strap button on the back of the top horn as well as a unique "through the heel" opening for routing the B string to get additional tension. This is a beast of an instrument and one that is not light - this didn't bother me much since I play seated. Bathroom scale puts this in the 9-10lb range - it's Alder and a thick slab of Wenge for the top. Sound samples available upon request.
