The bars have NOT been resurfaced. This is optional to the next buyer. I am happy to resurface if desired but the original lacquered top gives it a really nice mellower tone to it compared unlacquered. Happy to resurface for free. Tuned to A440 rather than A442. I do not offer re-tunings from set pitch.
The previous owner had painted the hardware gold and black. I kept the original color and repainted and lacquered the black. I enjoy the patina on the resonators and thought it should stay as-is. The vibraphone is in perfect working condition. I rebuilt the original motor and it is effective and dead silent. The pickups sound fantastic and work surprisingly well and do not alter the original tone whatsoever. Those pickups are pretty rare and very few ever hit the market(no I will NOT separate. Don’t ask please). This instrument is located in Richmond Virginia. Asking $4500. Willing to meet up to deliver. NO TRADES AT ALL. Made some demo audio if interested. I also have more pics.
