Not much explanation needed here.. It's a Fender Custom Shop Strat. Now, let's get straight to the good stuff. This is a 1957 NOS (new old stock), meaning, this ain't one of them relic'd ones that has all sorts of artificial aging with chips, dings, dents, with a matching aged case etc. etc. This is a good 'ol 1957 Stratocaster made to look brand new—although, this one is pre-loved.
This Stratocaster is constructed of an ash body, (7.6lbs) finished in a very classy Charcoal Frost Metallic nitro and sports a '60s oval "C" quartersawn maple neck with 9.5" AAA rosewood fingerboard. Gold hardware rounds out the looks and makes this guitar a complete stunner.
Not only is it a looker, it sounds just as good!Handwound Texas Special pickups deliver all of the classic Strat tones we all know and love while being wound a bit hotter—so they're perfect for blues, rock country, and just about anything you throw at it. The original hardshell case and case candy is included.
This guitar is pre-owned but in very good/excellent condition. There's a small pin prick on the top of the guitar by the bass side of the bridge (pictured), there's some light pick scratches on the pickguard and very light surface scratches on the body from being previously played. There's no major dings, dents, or scratches. The spec sheet is pictured above but here's a quick overview of the specs.
