The Gibson Custom, Art & Historic Division presents the Swingmaster Series - a collection of git-boxes so cool they'll blow your wig!  So, whaddya say, gate? You'll be sure to break it up when you frisk the whiskers with your Swingmaster ES-175.
~ Gibson

Yep, this guitar is all that.

Ultra Rare. Quite the elusive enigma, Gibson only made about 40 units across a total of four color schemes (White, Coral, Yellow, Mint Green) and two base models (ES-135 and ES-175). Approximately 10 (or less) total crafted in Mint Green. This Mint Green ES-175 Swingmaster may indeed be the only one.

No gimmicks here, this guitar plays mouthwateringly scrumptiously, and is absolutely a slick-playing uptown Deluxe Rockabilly, Surf and Blues lightning rod. Action is fast, smooth and low. I said, L-O-W, son. Any lower and the strings would be on the other side of the neck. No buzzing or weird spots, the frets are immaculate with little if any wear.

Swingmaster series guitars come with long-arm Bigsby tailpieces (Swing, Rockabilly, Surf and Chet Atkins aficionados will love this feature), trapezoid inlaid ebony fretboards and ample custom binding on the body, neck and peghead. ES-175 Swingmasters also come in four killer-diller colors—this one in Mint Green—and feature a factory issued custom decal of a very Hep Chick—immortalized underneath the nitrocellulose lacquer. The inside skinny is that the four Hep Chick girls (a different girl for each of the four finish color variations) hail from local burlesque establishments in Memphis, Tennessee.

Rich history, culture and character aside... deep, rich, full-spectrum tone, TOne, and more TONE.

Excellent condition, with a couple of small dings and very light finish checking for this now vintage guitar, primarily near the Hep Chick decal area. Lovingly cared for, played lightly and stored in a temperature stable studio environment.
