1965 Kawai S-170, similar to the S-180 4 pickup "Hound Dog Taylor", in really good condition for the age. Only part missing is the original tremolo arm. All electronics and switches work- 1 volume, 1 tone, 3 pickup on/off switches. Chrome cavity covers and swimming pool routing gives this a special acoustic quality similar to a semi hollow body, the pickups sound great on clean and distorted amp settings, there is a little pot scratch occasionally. All original parts except the original bridge was not well placed and needed sanded for lower action, I found a similar vintage Japanese made bridge that had a lower profile and works perfectly well compared to the original, I can include the original metal bridge and base, if desired, and I was planning to do the adjustments necessary to the original bridge to make it playable.
There is no case for it, but a can include a soft gig bag for extra, it will be properly bubble wrapped and shipped in cardboard box.
