Few bass names had the impact that Charvel/Jackson had in the 80's- super fast necks, high output pickups, and an incredible look.
This beauty brings it back.
The alder body has a medium weight, which, combined with the Hi-Mass bridge, enables excellent natural midrange push.
Dual Dimarazio Area J pickups grab that natural tone and bring in the classic 'Jazz' snarl in the bridge and sweet warmth in the neck.
These pickups are passive to retain dynamic control, but they run into a 3-band active eq, allowing you to dial them in to perfection.
You can hang in the back of the mix or bring it way out front.
This is just a great ax.
The caramelized maple Speed Neck here has a very thin feel, with the satin finish allowing for effortless position shifts.
