About This Listing

The bass pictured is the actual bass you will receive!

At The Farm, we take actual pictures of each instrument and make sure they are fully set-up and ready to play before we ship them. Each instrument goes through a multi-point inspection, followed by a set-up process by our in-house tech staff. We then photograph each instrument with high-quality equipment in our on-site photography studio. We know that details like wood grain and color finishes can vary, so we want you to be able to see, to the best of our ability, exactly what you will be receiving.

This process takes over an hour for each instrument - from inspection to pictures. We care about the instrument we put into your hands! Rest assured your bass was not just plucked off of a shelf and drop-shipped to you from a warehouse without care.

Just in on trade!

This vintage USA made Kramer XL-8 8 string bass with an aluminum neck is THE ultimate bass for teaching a lesson in what's cool and adding depth to your sound.

This 1980-1981 X-8 Kramer features the ever coveted Aluminum Power-Forged T neck with Maple sides, a Maple body with Walnut stripes, a top-mounted hardtail Bad Ass Version 1 bridge, an Ebonol fretboard with aluminum dot inlays, and is loaded with dual DiMarzio pickups.

The dual cream covered DiMarzio Model G pickups are dialed in using the dual volume controls, dual tone control, the 3-way switch and the dual tone mini switches that flip each pickup between humbucking and single coil tones - allowing you to get the perfect tone no matter what genre you're laying down.

The advanced Ebanol fretboard takes care of any problems associated with wood like cracking, chipping or warping, and keeps the smooth playing, great sounding and sharp looking aesthetics of Ebony. Other neck features include 24 frets and a 30 3/4" scale.

This Kramer 8 string bass sports a Diamond Coat finish, which is an extremely durable finish that not only protects, but enhances the beauty of each instrument  - lending a hint as to why this vintage bass looks so good.

Comes with the original hardshell case pictured.
