Waw-Waw Kalimbas

The kalimba is a musical instrument that originated in Africa. It has been loved for centuries and is also known as the "mbira," "sansa," or "thumb piano." It consists of a wooden resonating box with metal reeds attached, and when the reeds are plucked with the thumb, it produces a delicate, metallic sound.

The wah-wah kalimba is a melodic instrument with a wonderful sound, unique in both sound and design. Its 17 keys, tuned to the C major scale, ensure consistent key play, eliminating the need to worry about hitting the wrong notes. It's crafted from high-quality acacia wood. The sound hole faces the player's body. By moving the kalimba closer to your stomach and then away from it while playing, you can create a wah effect, creating a unique sound unlike any other kalimba.

The kalimba comes with a dedicated case to protect it from scratches and other damage, as well as a microfiber cloth and cotton bag for cleaning and storing the instrument. It also includes a tuning hammer so you can tune your kalimba if needed.
