EVANS/calf tone

The Calf Tone series, which features the year EVANS was founded, '56, and the EVANS vintage logo as its trademark, is reminiscent of the 1950s, and is characterized by a round, warm sound that is reminiscent of vintage looks, and a deep, rich tone that envelops the ensemble.
The touch and tone are both soft and rich with a mid-low calf tone, adding another dimension to your drum set. Perfect for jazz, vocals, and pops.

Calftone Drum heads are a synthetic alternative to traditional calf leather, crafted from a unique blend of materials based on DuPont's 12mil Mylar to deliver a rich, warm tone that brings the classic look and sound of vintage drums to modern drums.

It is highly durable and features Level 360 technology for excellent tuning.
