I bought this a few years ago on a lark, as Creston had made it without a buyer, which is unusual for him. In fact, he made two of these (the other, a hard-tail, went to Val McCallum). I've never really been an "S" guy, but wanted to give it a try as I'm a big fan of Creston's work and own a couple others of his.
Alas, it didn't really work with my playing style or tonal needs. But anyone who loves that "S" sound will dig this. The Gemini pickups really rock, very full-bodied and the bridge mini-hum is one HOT potato. It’s a mini-humbucker disguised as a goldfoil ! Each pickup is wired to its own volume pot, no tone knobs (who needs ‘em?). I threw together a quick demo to demonstrate the tones.
All the specs are here. Weight is about 8.6lbs. I'll pack it well and it will ship in the Creston-signature gigbag. There is no back-plate and the trem is un-blocked.
Here's the link to the guitar on Creston's site. His pix are better than mine!
