I have owned over a dozen mandolins of all styles. This - hands down - is the best sounding mandolin I’ve ever played. Huge chop and bark. I’ve been told this is a “Deluxe” model, and I don’t really know what distinguishes a Deluxe from a Special or Reserve, but I haven’t personally seen any with a wide flame maple one piece back! Frets show a little wear (and some finger dust) but have plenty of life left. Binding as you can see has yellowed some too. You won’t be disappointed!
