There have been many, many, - a whole lot of many!!! – reviews, comments, opinions, confused incoherant ramblings, etc about these IYV guitars, in particular, the ILS-300 emerald green LP copy. Almost all of them are quite positive, and comment about the high quality of manufacture, how good the pickups sound, and the incredible value they are.

I bought 6 of these about 9 months ago from my distributor, and sold 5 of them within 30 minutes of listing them! I’ve kept this one around just waiting to see how the price fluctuated . I have - my WHOLESALE COST – about $170.00 invested in each guitar. The five that I sold were all to artists that are either signed to my label or music publishing company or are relatives…i.e. I sold all five for my cost - $170.00. Currently, the used price seems to be $199.99 including shipping, so I’m going to ask for my last one – NEW (not used) $219.00 including shipping, (and try to make $20, if I can keep the shipping cost under $20…..whooppee….)

This guitar is manufactured by: INYEN VINA (IYV). This is from the CEO’s message from their website (translated): “Inyen Vina Co., Ltd is located at Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam – manufacturing electric guitar and bass guitar which was established since July 25, 1994. We want to avoid compete with Chinese Factories; we are making small quantities with various models. We are doing all wood working by CNC router and we use electrostatic paint system for both middle and top coating All the products are made by CNC automatic process.”

This is an excellent quality guitar, well-constructed and finished with high quality hardware, and play and sound great. The quality is equal or better than similar Epiphone/Squier models selling at $400, IMHO, and is suitable for stage and touring. The guitar is brand new, and comes with a new padded gig bag ($34.99), a new set of Curt Mangan Round Core Pure Nickel strings that I installed ($12.63); and has been set up by Lee Martin (Chattanooga Gtr Works) who adjusted the truss rod (proper relief), bridge (low action), and saddle (for intonation) - a $50.00 value.
